This wine contains 1.6 grams of carbohydrates per glass. The color is light gold, lighter than most chardonnay. The wine has a sweet melon nose. The flavor is melony, tart and crisp and not much like chardonnay. Much more of an acidic edge and it contains very little oak, just enough to add some pleasant softness. The finish has a little sour edge which is the only disappointment here. Grade: B
