Washington Hills Rainier White 2003 (Washington)

Price - $10.49 Size - 750 mL- Wines of the World Wine Tasting held on Saturday May 14, 2005 at the Powers Liquor Mart in Colorado Springs with Elizabeth Smart of Mountain Wine Distributing.

Blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Gewurztraminer with 13% alcohol comes from the Columbia Valley in Washington. Golden with heavy legs and a honey or maybe honeysuckle nose. Flavors of pear and apple leap out in this sweet although not highly acidic blend. Smooth with a nice medium length finish. Would be good with a wide array of Asian foods. For more information visit Washington Hills website. Grade: B
