This has a Stelvin screw-cap closure with a plastic rim, according to Elizabeth Smart this type of screwcap closure originated in New Zealand some time back when they were getting the worst corks and it was too expensive to ship them back. This wine is almost clear with heavy slow legs. The nose is sweet with a dry hint and some minerals. The flavor is sweet with full green grape flavors. There is also a nice floral flavor. Nice smooth well-constructed wine finishes very clean. Would pair well with spicy food. Grade: B+
