This pinot noir from Burgundy is unfiltered, so expect a little sediment in the bottle and your glass if you don't decant it. This is a darker red with some sediment and medium-quick legs. Hints of earth and black cherry mix on the nose. Flavors of earth, spice, tart cherries and mushrooms mix together to form a wonderful smooth, silky wine. This wine is not overpowering but has a long dry finish. Grade: B+
