Yellow Tail Shiraz 2004 (Australia)

I had the Yellow Tail Chardonnay recently which was disappointing, so I didn't know what to think about this one. This contains lots of sweet berries on the nose. The flavors are sweet with a hint of brown sugar. This wine is very fruity, creamy and smooth. The finish is somewhat short however. Not nearly as spicy as you expect Shiraz to be, but juicy, surprising and very enjoyable. Proved to be the other best buy of the tasting after the Zinfandel.
