Ruston Cuvee Simone 2000 (California)
Price - $28.99 Size - 750 mL- Wines of the World Wine Tasting held on Saturday April 16, 2005 at the Powers Liquor Mart in Colorado Springs.
This wine is a blend of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, I didn't catch the percentages of each, however. This wine is a deep burgundy with an astringent edge. The flavor is extremely deep on this one, and too complex to take in in one glassfull. It has nice fruitiness and a long smooth finish. Excellent wine, one of the best I've ever had.
